Overview:
The Patrol Specialist - Investigation & Risk Management is a critical leadership position within the Patrol department, responsible for ensuring that all incident documentation, investigations, and risk-related processes are legally defensible and organizationally sound and consistent. This role goes beyond administration: it requires high-level analysis of best practices in the areas of risk, liability, and exposure across patrol operations and processes, with direct involvement in preparing materials for litigation defense.

Responsibilities:
Job duties may include, but are not limited to:Serve as the primary and final reviewer for all patrol-related incident documentation and investigations, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Conduct reviews of incident documentation to identify risk exposure and recommend improvements.
Train and mentor Patrol Incident Investigators, ensuring that investigative practices meet department and resort standards.
Work with Patrol Leadership, risk management and external partners to ensure investigative documentation is complete, accurate, and organized for potential review.
Maintain Master Staff Spreadsheet and track hiring, nametags, contact updates, and crew pass distribution.
Manage emergency resources including major incident checklists, emergency binders, phone lists, and power outage protocols across base areas.
Monitor and manage inventory of laptops, tablets, and office supplies across patrol locations.
Coordinate uniform inventory, distribution, and compliance tracking.
Qualifications:
What we are looking for:Proven ability to lead and manage programs from development through implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational excellence.
Demonstrated experience developing, documenting, and maintaining processes and standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Strong investigative background, including conducting inquiries, analyzing findings, and producing detailed reports for leadership and operational decision-making.
Skilled in reviewing and evaluating incident and investigative documentation for accuracy, consistency, and risk exposure, with the ability to identify system gaps and recommend improvements.
Experience training, coaching, and supporting personnel to ensure consistent reporting standards and proper documentation practices.
