Patient Transporter Driver

This position requires transporting patients to appointments.

Before applying, candidates must have their own reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

Safely transport patients to scheduled appointments, outings, and activities. Assist patients entering and exiting the vehicle to ensure comfort and safety. Provide companionship and support during appointments as needed. Safely transport and manage patients' ambulatory assistance devices (e.g., walkers, canes, wheelchairs) in the vehicle. Accompany patients into their appointments and communicate with staff when appropriate. Provide ongoing safety supervision throughout transport and appointments. Assist with ambulatory support, including transfers, repositioning, and mobility guidance.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older. Eligible to work in the United States. High school diploma or GED. Reliable transportation. Valid driver's license, current vehicle registration, and active auto insurance with the applicant listed as an insured driver. Clean driving record with no major violations. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds. Ability to successfully pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
