Full-Time | Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm

Position Summary

The Oncology Patient Services Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients in the outpatient oncology clinic. This role is responsible for greeting patients, managing check-in/check-out procedures, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and ensuring a compassionate and efficient experience for patients undergoing cancer treatment.

Key Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and empathy Manage patient check-in and check-out processes Verify insurance and collect co-pays or outstanding balances Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments Maintain accurate patient records in EMR system Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries Coordinate with clinical staff to support patient flow Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality Assist with prior authorizations and referrals Support patients with paperwork and navigation of services
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Work Environment

Outpatient oncology clinic High emotional sensitivity and patient interaction Fast-paced, team-oriented setting
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
