A patient services representative at Alpine Orthopaedic Specialist will perform a number of duties, including but not limited to:
Greet patients and visitors in a courteous, professional and welcoming manner.
Patient registration and process paperwork for doctors' appointments.
Collect insurance information and insurance verification.
Collect co-pays and process payments on patient accounts.
Answer patient billing and account questions.
Answer and route incoming phone calls.
Coordinate referrals for patients through insurance and other physician offices or specialists.
Scanning all clinical and financial documents into the practice management software and electronic health record.
Process medical records requests.
Assist the billing department, clinical department and physicians with administrative tasks/projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
