Patient Services Coordinator

for our Hampstead location.

About the Role



As the

liaison between patients and providers

, you'll ensure every visit runs smoothly -- from the first call to check-out.
You'll handle busy phones, check patients in and out, relay important messages, and keep communication flowing throughout the office.

You won't be doing it alone -- you'll

join a team of experienced front-desk professionals

who support one another and bring their best every day.
Together, you'll form the front-line team that keeps our growing practice running smoothly, with compassion, professionalism, and precision.

What You'll Do



Be the heartbeat of our front desk

-- managing phones, patients, and provider coordination with confidence.

Greet patients warmly

and manage check-in/out efficiently and professionally.

Master the phones:

handle a busy multi-line system, schedule appointments, and assist patients quickly and accurately.

Collaborate with teammates

to coordinate schedules, provider communication, and office flow.

Verify insurance and confirm PCP assignments

to maintain accurate records.

Process payments, copays, and balances

at time of service.

Take and relay accurate messages

promptly to the right team member.

Register new patients

and keep demographics and insurance up to date in

eClinicalWorks (eCW).

Coordinate follow-up care

after hospital, ER, or urgent-care visits.

Manage faxes and documents in eCW

with accuracy and organization.

Support your teammates

to keep each day running smoothly, efficiently, and with heart.

HIPAA, insurance workflows, and eClinicalWorks (eCW)

or are quick to learn

Must-Haves



Strong understanding of medical terminology

-- used daily in patient communication and documentation

Fast and accurate typing skills

for entering detailed information efficiently

Exceptional verbal communication

-- able to speak clearly, confidently, and professionally with patients and providers

Professional written communication

-- capable of composing clear, polished messages and documentation

Meticulous attention to detail

with consistent accuracy and follow-through

Collaborative, team-oriented mindset

-- positive, adaptable, and dependable in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications



Minimum

2 years of experience

in a medical or healthcare office High school diploma or equivalent required CMA, RMA, or LNA a plus (not required)
