DGP Health & Wellness is a community-based mental health center dedicated to supporting emotional wellness across South Florida. We are seeking a Client Coordinator / Psychiatric Appointments Clerk to be the welcoming face of our office, helping clients access care smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing professional and compassionate service.
Perform client check-in and check-out for appointments.
Schedule and confirm client appointments; answer and direct calls.
Verify insurance eligibility and collect required documentation.
Coordinate transportation arrangements for clients.
Maintain organized records, data entry, and filing.
Support office flow and assist with supply management.
Use Microsoft Word and Excel for reports and scheduling.
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Administrative or clerical experience, preferably in healthcare.
Strong organization and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
