Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Centers is seeking a high energy front desk leader for our Guilford clinic. PTSMC is a PT-owned practice built on compassion, clinical excellence, and a patient-first mindset.


The PSA plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of administrative front desk functions. We're looking for a candidate who brings leadership, a friendly and professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and positivity creating a welcoming and cohesive environment for the front desk team and every patient.


In addition to providing outstanding customer service and performing the daily front desk functions all team members are responsible for, this role includes an important leadership component.

Key Responsibilities:



Answer and route incoming calls appropriately Assist patients with completing intake and insurance forms Accurately input patient data into the electronic medical record system Schedule and confirm appointments Process and collect patient payments Participate in front desk hiring, training, supervision and facilitate professional development Manage all clinic calendars to support clinic operations Complete the PTSMC Dialogue for Development and goal setting processes for front desk staff according to established timelines Understand, facilitate and manage PTSMC compliance requirements for visitors Support Partner/Director with creating, tracking and holding staff accountable to growth and development plans Coordinate and implement PT for Life programs internally Provide leadership at staff meetings related to front office operations Ensure full attendance at front desk meetings and confirm that all staff comprehend the information presented Assist in increasing community presence by attending community events
