Patient Care Coordinator
who will be the friendly face and voice that welcomes every patient into our practice.
About the Role
As our
Patient Care Coordinator
, you are the first and last impression for our patients -- the heart of our front office. This role blends customer service, communication, organization, and attention to detail to create a seamless, compassionate patient experience.
You'll greet patients with warmth, manage schedules, handle phone calls and emails, and coordinate treatment plans -- all while keeping our day running smoothly and ensuring patients feel cared for and informed.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients with a warm, professional, and welcoming attitude.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, fill openings promptly, and maintain a productive schedule.
Manage phone calls, emails, and text communications efficiently and with excellent grammar and professionalism.
Check patients in and out, collect payments at time of service, and explain account balances.
Understand and interpret insurance EOBs to help patients understand their financial responsibility.
Coordinate treatment and communication with referring doctors.
Scan and organize digital documents; send and manage patient forms.
Maintain and update inventory of retail and biologic products (ordering not required).
Provide support during patient transitions due to schedule changes or policy updates with patience and empathy.
Collaborate with the team to create a calm, organized, and positive front office environment.
Learn and share information about biologic/holistic dental products and materials used in the practice.
Qualifications & Skills
:
Education
: High school diploma or higher
Experience
: Previous dental experience is highly beneficial, but not required
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills (grammar and punctuation matter!)
Thrives in a busy, team-oriented environment.
Can stay calm, kind, and professional even with frustrated or anxious patients.
Has experience in dental or medical front office work (preferred, not required).
Understands or is willing to learn about dental insurance and EOBs.
Is eager to learn about biologic/holistic dentistry and the products we offer.
Is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and takes pride in doing excellent work.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 - 36 per week
