Patient Care Technician

for an exciting job in

Edison, NJ.

Responsibilities:

Verify patient identification and prepare patients for exams, admissions, and procedures. Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs, glucose checks, and specimen collection. Provide hygiene and comfort care, assist with feeding, and support patient mobility/transport. Monitor intake/output, document patient weights, and report abnormal findings to RN. Maintain clean, functional equipment; restock supplies; prepare rooms for admissions. Respond promptly to call lights and support a safe, patient-centered environment.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of recent PCT experience in an acute care setting (ED preferred). Skills in phlebotomy, EKG, vitals, glucose monitoring, and respiratory support (oxygen, trach, vents). Strong reliability and ability to work in a high-volume environment. Epic experience preferred.

Education & Certifications:

High school diploma/GED; completion of a PCT program. BLS (AHA), EKG Certification, and Phlebotomy Certification.
