Job Description

Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center is a hospital dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare to the Hope, Arkansas community and surrounding areas. We offer a full range of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic services, as well as a 24-hour emergency department, an inpatient geriatric behavioral health unit, physical therapy, inpatient pharmacy services, and a Rural Health Clinic.



Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center is in search of an experienced Patient Care Tech. The ideal candidate will be responsible for direct patient care and supports nursing staff by assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and feeding. PCTs obtain vital signs, report changes in patient condition, help maintain a safe and clean environment, and ensure patients are comfortable. They play an essential role in patient monitoring, communication, and overall quality of care within the clinical team.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities



Utilizes knowledge, skill and judgement in providing direct and indirect patient care. Participates in patient/family/staff education. Provides safe practices in all aspects of patient care activities. Performs observation of patients who are at risk for injury, secondary to suicide, falls, or other risk. All other duties as assigned by Management.

Education & Experience:



High School Diploma Certified Nurses Aid preferred 1 year experience preferred BLS upon hire * CPI or COAP within 3 months of Hire
