: We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Optometric Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting optometrists during patient exams, performing diagnostic tests, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a passion for patient care, and a keen interest in the field of optometry.

Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for eye exams, ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease.
Conduct preliminary tests such as visual acuity, tonometry, OCT, visual field, Optos, lipiscan
Assist the optometrist during eye exams by providing tools and support.
Record patient medical histories and update electronic health records (EHR).
Help with patient scheduling and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Maintain and clean equipment to ensure proper function.
Provide excellent customer service and answer patient inquiries.
Educate patients on dry eye treatments such as radiofrequency, IPL and Lipiflow
Educate patients on proper eye care and the use of prescribed eyewear.
Insertion and removal training for new contact lens wearers
Order and stock contact lenses
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Optometric Technician or in a healthcare setting required.
Strong knowledge of optometry procedures and equipment is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework in a healthcare field is a plus).
Comfortable working with electronic health records (EHR) and office software.
Punctuality is a MUST
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
