About Us



Northeast Oral Surgery & Implant Center is a trusted multi-location oral surgery practice dedicated to excellent patient care, efficiency, and professionalism. We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our office and the key link between patients, providers, and the clinical team.

Position Overview



The Patient Care Coordinator manages patient flow, scheduling, and communication at the front desk. This role is vital in ensuring patients feel supported and informed, while keeping office operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome patients, manage check-in and check-out, and assist with intake paperwork. Verify insurance and demographics, collect payments, and ensure accurate data entry. Answer and route phone calls, schedule consultations, surgeries, and post-ops according to scheduling hierarchy. Process and organize referrals, imaging, and documents, ensuring all records are scanned and saved properly. Manage appointment reminders and patient communication through Weave and MySecurePractice. Maintain an organized, professional, and clean front desk environment. Assist with treatment coordination by updating treatment statuses, supporting surgical clearance processes, and ensuring smooth communication between admin and clinical teams. Complete daily responsibilities such as end-of-day payment reconciliation and documentation in EMR.
Qualifications:

Prior experience in dental, medical, or surgical office preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to multitask and remain professional in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Weave, MySecurePractice, or WinOMS a plus (training provided if not).
