Duties



Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures, ensuring a smooth arrival process. Manage patient appointments by scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming upcoming visits to optimize clinic flow. Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details, maintaining accurate records in compliance with privacy regulations. Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment plans, appointment instructions, and follow-up requirements. Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care activities and ensure timely delivery of services. Handle administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and managing correspondence efficiently. Support billing processes by verifying insurance coverage and assisting with documentation for billing purposes.

Qualifications



Proven experience working in a medical office setting or healthcare environment. Strong knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with staff and patients. Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional medical administrative support with attention to detail. Prior office experience that highlights organizational skills and multitasking capabilities. Experience working in a dental or similar outpatient setting is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster positive patient interactions. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
