Full-time

Patient Care Coordinator for our Harrisburg, SD clinic. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is outgoing, friendly, determined, goal oriented, and committed to clinical excellence. This position will be interacting with both patients and therapists, assuring excellent communication in regards to insurance, scheduling needs, and patient concerns/feedback.

Hours for this position:

Monday-Friday

Job responsibilities include:

Greeting all patients and staff in a friendly and welcoming manner Collecting new patient intake information, including data entry Collecting co-payments & co-insurance Answering phones and transferring/screening calls as appropriate Scheduling new & existing patients and making schedule adjustments as needed Verifying insurance coverage Completing forms and reports as required by the company and outside vendors and agencies Ensuring patient privacy by following HIPAA Taking care of all mail, fax, and copy requests Maintaining inventory of the necessary office forms and supplies Assisting in auditing records for ongoing compliance with medical records standards Ensuring data entry has been completed for documenting systems Closing duties: laundry, restocking, general cleaning etc. Other duties as assigned

This position requires significant use of Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other industry-specific software, good phone etiquette, multi-tasking, and efficiency with all projects. Applicant must be extremely capable of understanding and learning new computer systems and administrative processes. Applicant must work well in a team-oriented environment.
