As the first point of contact for our patients, the patient care coordinator plays a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient experience.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable, dedicated, and friendly patient care coordinator to join our front office team. The ideal candidate will manage high-volume calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance eligibility, and support front office operations--all while ensuring patients receive excellent service and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately perform data entry and maintain current patient records Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments in a timely manner Answer incoming calls professionally and route them appropriately Collect and verify insurance information Clearly communicate appointment details, wait times, insurance coverage, and office policies Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient privacy Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support daily workflow

Qualifications & Skills:

Prior experience in a dental, oral surgery, or medical office is preferred Knowledge of insurance verification processes and medical/dental terminology Familiarity with dental or medical software systems; experience with WinOMS, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar platforms is a plus Bilingual abilities are a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
