Overview

We are seeking a dedicated professional team player and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in a busy General Dental Office of over 30 years. This role is for an individual who has a passion for delivering excellent patient service and can multitask.

Four Day Work Week: Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday 7:30am-4pm and Thursday 10:30am-7pm.

At least one year of experience is preferred but will consider training a motivated individual with similar experience in another field.

Duties

Greet and check-in patients efficiently and professionally Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using practice management software Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and medical histories Maintain accurate and organized patient records in compliance with privacy regulations Support billing processes by verifying insurance coverage and processing payments as needed Ensure the waiting area remains clean, welcoming, and organized Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow throughout the day

Experience

Prior experience working in a medical or dental office setting is preferred Knowledge of administrative support procedures is highly desirable Office experience demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems or practice management software is a plus Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
