Patient Care Coordinator

Helton Hearing Care, a growing audiology practice in Bozeman, MT, is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator to join our hearing care team. We are looking for a team player who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously and function in fast paced environment. A good fit at our office would have excellent customer service and people skills, a pleasant telephone demeanor and be someone who projects a professional and welcoming image at front desk.

This job does involve some sensitive personal information - there is a background check as well as a DISC profile assessment. DISC profile assessment is basically a personality test that helps us understand who you are and where you might fit in the clinic. We'll gladly share the results with you so you can learn with us.

Responsibilities and duties include:

greeting patients, reviewing patient registration documents, maintaining and organizing clinic medical record, checking & taking messages and returning calls, preparing patient charts, submitting and verifying authorization, requesting and checking in products for patients, submitting medical documentation to insurance, answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out of appointments, collecting payments for services, making reminder calls, screening patients to determine what services will meet their needs, patient retention calls, office supplies tracking, generating marketing materials, and any other projects as needed from the team. On-the-job training provided.

Qualifications and Skills:

Prefer a bachelor's degree but will consider 2 years of college or more. Experience in medical, chiropractic, veterinary or similar office setting a plus Computer experience is required. Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills 3+ years customer service experience Ability to multitask while still maintaining a high attention to detail.
