What You'll Do:



As a Patient Care Coordinator, you'll provide clinical and supervisory support to staff while coordinating day-to-day operations of the Stroke/Neuro Unit. You'll foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and excellence in patient care.



Key Responsibilities:





Lead and support nursing staff through mentorship and role modeling.

Coordinate patient flow, admissions, and discharges.

Promote Relationship-Based Care and shared governance.

Evaluate care delivery and outcomes using evidence-based practices.

Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless care.

Support quality improvement initiatives and a professional work environment.



What's Required:





Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan

BSN required (for hires after October 1, 2018)

Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience; specialty and charge nurse experience preferred

Strong clinical competence, communication, and leadership skills
