Description
The Joseph "Eddie" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long-term care facility located in beautiful Hanson, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky's Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care.



We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic Patient Aide I who possesses the skills and desires to care for Kentucky's Veterans. The ideal candidate will work within a team-centered environment.



This is an Interim position. An Interim position means a position established to address a one-time or recurring need of less than nine (9) months duration and exempt from the classified service under KRS 18A.115.



We offer flexible scheduling and holiday, weekend and shift premiums.



Key Responsibilities:Assists residents with personal hygiene such as grooming, nutrition, elimination, safety and psychosocial needs. Assists residents needs in restorative dining, regular meals, and supplement feedings. Assists residents with exercise and mobility needs by transferring, transporting, positioning, and ambulating.
