We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Patient Account Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient accounts, processing payments, and resolving billing issues. The Patient Account Representative will also be responsible for verifying insurance coverage, submitting claims, and following up on outstanding balances. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for this role.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Pay:
$17 - $19/per hour depending on skills and experience
Responsibilities:
Manage patient accounts and process payments
Resolve billing issues and discrepancies
Verify insurance coverage and submit claims
Follow up on outstanding balances and collections
Provide excellent customer service to patients and insurance companies
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in medical billing or healthcare administration preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

The salary range listed is the base salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to work experience, education, and/or skill level
