Description:

What You Will Do:

Correctly identify specimens, registers, accessions and tracks, and delivers to appropriate location/department including send out testing. Ensures appropriate handling of blocks, specimens, and cassettes Performs frozen sections, assists with FNA's and other procedures.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Hospital based pathology laboratory or gross room experience preferred Organized, ability to learn new techniques, procedures and regulations, organize workload effectively and work quickly with high level of accuracy Able to effectively document lab results and clinical notations.
