Job Description

Our client, a prestigious Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a mid-level Patent Agent to join its Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Patent Prosecution Practice Group. This opportunity is open in Atlanta, Denver, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis, Washington, DC, Houston, Kansas City, or Phoenix, with a preference for candidates based in Washington, DC, or San Francisco.
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 to 4 years of patent preparation and prosecution experience
Strong academic credentials and prior law firm, engineering, or relevant industry experience
Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills
Admission to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is required
Technical Background:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics
Experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications involving:
Graphics Processing Units (GPUs)
Tensor Processing Units (TPUs)
Accelerators
Neural engines
Robotics circuitry and actuators
