Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of baked goods including cakes, pastries, and desserts with precision and creativity Decorate cakes and pastries using various techniques to create visually appealing designs Package finished products carefully for delivery or display Assist in food production and preparation to ensure timely service during busy periods Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work stations in accordance with food safety standards Handle ingredients responsibly, adhering to proper food handling procedures Support catering events or special orders as needed Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent quality and presentation of all baked goods

Requirements

Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts within a professional kitchen or food service environment Strong skills in food preparation, food safety, and kitchen operations Knowledge of cake decorating techniques, knife skills, and food industry standards Experience with packaging baked goods for retail or catering purposes Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude Culinary experience in restaurants, bakeries, or catering services preferred Food handling certification or willingness to obtain certification if required by local regulations

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
