Dietary Aide
Othello Community Hospital is seeking a compassionate and reliable Dietary Aide to join our Nutrition Services team on a temporary, part-time basis. This role plays a vital part in supporting patient care by assisting with meal preparation, delivery, and sanitation in a healthcare setting.
Location:
Othello Community Hospital, Othello, WA
Schedule:
20-24hrs/Week, Day Shift, Weekends & Holidays.
Status:
Part-Time, Temporary.
Wage Range:
$18.20 - $32.97/hour
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to patients, staff, and visitors
Follow dietary guidelines and patient-specific meal plans
Deliver trays to patient rooms and retrieve them after meals
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment
Wash dishes, utensils, and food service items
Stock supplies and monitor inventory levels
Adhere to food safety and infection control standards
Provide friendly and respectful service to patients and staff
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Food Handlers Card
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and hygiene practices
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
