Job Summary


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have experience creating lesson plans and implementing them. Getting preschoolers ready for kindergarten, classroom management, and curriculum development, and a focus on supporting children's developmental milestones. This role involves creating age-appropriate lesson plans, implementing educational activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. The Preschool Teacher will collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents to promote a positive educational experience.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education. Create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and developmental needs of preschool children. Manage classroom activities to promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment conducive to learning and social development. Utilize behavior management techniques to foster positive behavior and social skills among students. Support children's emotional, social, and cognitive growth through individual attention and group activities. Assess student progress through observations, standardized testing, and informal evaluations; adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom management strategies, and special education initiatives such as early intervention programs. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and other relevant documentation. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to provide a secure environment for children.

Requirements



Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting; prior private school experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development including literacy education, math instruction, Montessori methods, and classroom management best practices. Experience working with special education needs or in early childhood special education is desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate physical education, tutoring elements, and standardized testing preparation when applicable. Childcare certification or relevant early childhood education credentials preferred. Passion for fostering child welfare through nurturing care and educational support.
