The Holiday Inn Express & Suites American Fork is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented

Maintenance Technician

to join our team on a part-time weekend schedule.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance for the hotel's interior, exterior, guest rooms, and common areas Handle painting, plumbing, electrical, pool care, and general upkeep Respond promptly to guest repair requests and emergency calls Maintain lobbies, public facilities, and grounds in clean, safe condition Conduct preventive maintenance on guest rooms and hotel systems Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely Track maintenance inventory and requisition supplies as needed Assist with HVAC adjustments, furniture repairs, and fixture upkeep Support the hotel's preventative maintenance program Report major repair needs to the General Manager Perform other tasks as assigned by management
Requirements

Availability to work weekends and respond to emergency calls Knowledge of painting, plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, and general repairs Ability to move, lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs (with assistance for heavier tasks) Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Strict adherence to dress and grooming standards Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a hospitable personality Clear and professional communication skills Ability to climb, balance, and work to precise measurements
