Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Part-Time Warehouse Sorter / Associate to join our dynamic distribution center team. This role involves efficiently sorting, organizing, and managing inventory within a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience, familiarity with inventory management systems, and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in warehouse operations, materials handling, and logistics processes while contributing to smooth order fulfillment and shipping activities.

Responsibilities

Sort and organize incoming and outgoing inventory items accurately and efficiently Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements Operate heavy equipment such as pallet jacks Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment and techniques Maintain inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and verifying stock accuracy Support warehouse distribution activities including stocking, materials handling, and packaging Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Skills

Proven experience in warehouse operations, distribution, or manufacturing environments Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and tools Experience in stock management, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving processes Knowledge of materials handling techniques including heavy lifting and load & unload procedures Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control tasks Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues when necessary

Hours

Around 2-3 hours each morning depending on the truck's arrival time.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
