Our Sales Associates/Cashiers play a key role in providing legendary customer service to our clients. Don't know anything about hardware? Don't worry, we'll teach you!!
All positions will begin training at our Silver Spring location before the store opens in Rockville
Key Responsibilities
Assist in receiving, stocking, and pricing of all merchandise
Cashiering (handling money, giving accurate change)
Maintain clean and orderly store appearance
Deliver customer service with enthusiasm and genuine interest in ensuring guest satisfaction
Communicate clearly, effectively, and politely with customers in store and over the phone
Requirements
Ability to stand for an extended period of time and be able to lift 40lbs frequently
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Retail experience preferred and previous home improvement knowledge helpful
Spanish speaking is a plus!

The Cool Hardware Company (TCHC), also known as A Few Cool Hardware Stores, is an awesome group of fourteen Ace Hardware stores across Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia. TCHC was founded in 2003 and became employee-owned in 2021. At each of our locations, we recognize the needs of our customers and community in order to bring in the best possible products and services to each store.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 / hour
