Mountain Views Supervisory Union - Woodstock, VT Area

The Mountain Views Supervisory Union is seeking

dependable, caring, and safety-minded drivers

to join our transportation team! Our Special Education Student Drivers play a vital role in ensuring students can access their school programs each day -- safely, reliably, and with kindness.



We have both

part-time regular routes

and

per diem substitute opportunities

available, primarily based in the

Killington and Woodstock

areas.

What You'll Do

Safely transport students with disabilities to and from school, programs, and placements according to assigned routes and schedules. Provide a calm, supportive, and positive experience for students during each trip. Follow all district policies, traffic laws, and safety procedures. Communicate promptly with the transportation coordinator regarding any schedule changes, concerns, or maintenance needs. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

What We're Looking For

A

valid Vermont driver's license

and a

clean driving record

(no major violations or accidents in the past three years). The ability to

pass a criminal background check

. Someone who is

dependable, punctual, and able to work independently

. Experience working with or around children, especially those with special needs, is a plus. Ability to

assist students safely in and out of vehicles

when needed.

Schedule & Compensation

Part-time:

approximately 2-4 hours per day, split between morning and afternoon routes.

Per diem substitute

positions also available.

District vehicle provided

for all assigned routes.

Competitive hourly wage

based on experience.
