Schedule: Friday & Saturday, 10:00 PM - 3:00 AM
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Employment Type: Part-Time
Citadel Security USA is seeking a reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to support a residential apartment complex in Ames, Iowa. This position is ideal for someone who is attentive, service-oriented, and comfortable working independently during late-night hours.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct hourly foot patrols throughout the building and surrounding areas
- Assist residents with access coordination in accordance with property policy
- Respond to noise concerns and encourage compliance with community rules through a customer-service-oriented approach
- Observe and report any maintenance or safety issues encountered during patrols
- Complete clear and accurate documentation as required
- Maintain a visible, calm presence to support a safe living environment
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with residents
- Ability to work late-night shifts independently
- Previous security, customer service, or residential patrol experience
