About Us:

Pawtown Veterinary Care is a small animal veterinary clinic for dogs and cats. We focus on excellent customer service and are committed to providing the highest quality of care for our patients. We believe the way to achieve the best patient and customer care is to hire, support and nourish a great team. We care about our team and want our staff to love their job. Practice owners (Erin and Lauren) have worked as veterinarians for a collective 30+ years. We are knowledgeable, approachable and like the variety of veterinary medicine - from wellness to urgent care, surgery, dentistry and more.

Overall Function of the Position:

This is a Part-Time position for 1 to 2 days per week.
We love those who are motivated, organized, responsible and caring. We are a small team and we value the desire to help each other, work together and learn from each other. We appreciate people who enjoy educating and communicating with clients. Here are some of the things our Receptionists do:

Answer phones Respond to client emails Manage the appointment schedule Greet our clients and their pets Take client payment for services Create client and patient profiles Collect and import patient records from referring clinics Send patient records to referral clinics

Qualifications:

Customer service experience Receptionist experience is preferred Experience working in a veterinary clinic is preferred
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9 - 18 per week
