Job Title:

Part-Time Preschool Teacher

Position Summary:

We are seeking a caring and joyful individual to join our preschool team. The Part-Time Preschool Teacher will help create a loving, safe environment where young children can grow in their faith, friendships, and early learning skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and lead developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that nurture each child's spiritual, social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Build trusting relationships with children, encouraging curiosity, kindness, and respect.

Supervise and engage children in both structured learning times and free play, always ensuring their safety and well-being.

Partner with parents to support their child's learning journey, sharing updates and celebrating milestones together.

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space.

Work collaboratively with the Executive Director and other teachers to create a supportive and unified teaching team.

Follow all of the program and state licensing policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

A heart for working with children and helping them grow.

Experience teaching or caring for preschool-aged children.

Understanding of child development and early learning best practices.

Strong communication skills, patience, and a team-oriented attitude.

Able to pass all required background checks.

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Work Schedule:

Part-time, approximately 15 to 20 hours per week (schedule based on program needs).

May include occasional participation in preschool events, staff meetings, and training sessions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
