Class Summary
This is a part-time position with a maximum of 1,508 hours per year and is not eligible for paid holidays, leave, or benefits.

This part-time Parks Crew Member position is responsible for maintaining the parks' safety and cleanliness, as well as assuring the integrity of the County's renowned park system. In addition, the incumbent will be providing customer service assistance, performing janitorial duties and routine maintenance of grounds, as well as providing basic equipment maintenance. This position will also be working, interacting and overseeing the pavilion rental groups, which include rental facilities cleanliness.
Essential Duties

  • Conducting Park Safety Checks/General Park Inspections
  • Assisting and interacting, with Youth Athletic Associations
  • Preparing Incident reporting as needed
  • Performing end of day facility lock up and alarm
  • Maintaining a healthy and safe working environment
  • Performing other duties of a similar nature or level as assigned
Other Job Requirements/Information
  • This job may require on-call rotation and emergency after hours, weekends, and/or holidays.
Hourly rate
Salary will be $16.80.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Candidate must be 16 years of age
  • General experience in customer service, janitorial service, and/or grounds maintenance
  • Valid Driver's License
