Positon Summary

We are looking for an exceptional Math Instructor/Tutor to join our team. This is a part-time position (typically 8-20 hours per week) with flexible hours. Usually, hours are Monday--Friday afternoons between 3 and 7PM and possibly Saturday mornings or Sunday afternoons. You will create an engaging and productive learning experience for students. The ideal candidate will be a bright, passionate, and ambitious professional with excellent interpersonal, math, instruction, and tutoring skills. Training is provided. All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.

Job Responsibilities

Providing exceptional instruction/tutoring services to students Teach using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework Work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for students Assist with non-teaching/instructional tasks as needed

Qualifications:

A passion for math and working with students High level math skills (be able to tutor in Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, and possibly Trigonometry) Excellent interpersonal skills Willingness to learn and be trained
