Job Description

Provide nutritious food and drinks to FamiliesFORWARD after school students and staff in a safe and healthy environment.

Post the menu daily at a central location in the food service area for Kids Cafe. Receive all food items and sign daily delivery sheet as provided by Cincinnati Cooks personnel. Assist with student counts as required by FamiliesFORWARD After School Coordinator/ Sitite Manager using the Kid's Cafe form supplied.

Place thermometers in all serving pans to ensure proper temperatures for each food dish. Remove all debris and sanitize all food service areas including lunchroom tables and serving tables prior to the arrival of students and adults.

Serve all children and adults entering the food line in a timely manner. Discard all leftover food items in a timely manner after service is complete. Sweep and mop floors as appropriate and sanitize all surfaces. Collect all trash from the cafeteria and food preparation area. Place trash bags in the school building dumpster.

Wash and dry all pans and place in a secure location for Cincinnati Cooks personnel.

High school diploma required

Ability to pass background pass and drug screen
