Assists the City of Lubbock Audit & Oversight team in the execution of audits and other projects. Interacts with members of the City Audit & Oversight team and business owners to perform audit testing and complete other audit or administrative tasks as assigned.
Essential Functions
-----------------------
Obtains audit evidence from audit clients;
Independently completes audit testing and documentation, in a timely manner and in accordance with Audit Methodology and professional standards;
Independently tracks the status of management action plans to completion;
Provides updates to Internal Audit management regarding the status of assigned audits.
Qualifications
------------------
Working towards Bachelor's or Master's Degree (preferably in Finance, Business, Accounting and/or Management Information Systems)

Physical Requirements:
Maintain the ability to frequently walk and stand;
