Position Overview:



We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Part-Time HR Specialist

to join our team. This role focuses on managing key HR responsibilities, including workers' compensation and general HR administration. The ideal candidate will have previous HR experience, particularly in payroll and workers' comp management. This is a part-time position with flexible hours perfect for someone looking to work 25 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage and process payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees. Handle workers' compensation claims, coordinating with employees and insurers to ensure efficient claim resolution. Maintain employee records, including attendance, leave balances, and compliance with labor laws. Assist in onboarding new employees and updating HR documents. Address employee inquiries related to HR policies, payroll, and benefits. Provide administrative support for HR-related activities and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Qualifications:



Prior experience in HR or a related field is required. Knowledge of workers' compensation policies and procedures. Familiarity with payroll processes and compliance. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Compensation:



Hourly rate: $15- $18, depending on experience.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
