Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Duties

Make up beds for an upscale hotel Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas including guest rooms, hallways, cocktail bar and common areas. Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing. Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free from dust and debris. Manage housekeeping supplies and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor. Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or inquiries.

Requirements

Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills to interact positively with guests and colleagues. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
