Asbury Church is seeking an enthusiastic Part-Time Guest Services Associate to join our dynamic and growing Experience Team. Asbury is a unique church in Tulsa with a rich, 60-year legacy in the traditions of the church coupled with a Senior Pastor committed to doing everything it takes to reach the next generation.

The Guest Services Associate works directly with the Guest Services Coordinator and serves as a key leader in creating exceptional experiences for both visitors and members of Asbury Church. This position is responsible for the comprehensive coordination of Sunday Guest Services operations and provides essential support for special events throughout the church's liturgical calendar. Working within established church procedures, the Associate will lead and develop multiple volunteer teams, including those responsible for golf cart transportation, communion preparation and service, and/or breakfast coordination. The role requires a dedicated individual who can effectively implement organizational protocols while nurturing volunteer relationships and ensuring seamless service delivery. The Guest Services Associate plays a vital role in fulfilling Asbury's mission by fostering an environment where hospitality and service excellence are consistently demonstrated through the effective management of volunteer teams and guest service operations.

Requirements for the position:

Must be an active member or become an active member of Asbury Church.

Must have vision and a demonstrated ability to plan, develop, coordinate, manage and implement within the parameters of a theologically conservative church.

High School Diploma. Working on college degree preferred.

Proven background with hospitality/guest services.

Proven background in leading and managing volunteers.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Worship Planning (training can be provided).

Proven ability to inspire and motivate volunteers.

Ability to organize and prioritize work quickly.

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be detail oriented.

Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.

Self-motivated team player who can work independently.

Maintain confidentiality in all circumstances.

Must be people oriented and able to work with a variety of personalities.

Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while serving others.

Ability to work with all levels of clergy, leadership, and staff effectively.

Work Environment:

This safety-sensitive job operates in a professional ministry-related office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Time Commitment:

Part-Time Position: 12-15 hours per week: Wednesdays 2:00pm-7:00pm and Sundays 7:00am-1:00pm. Some additional hours/days may be needed for special events and holiday services.
