Dakota State University is seeking applications for a part-time, non-benefit eligible Facility Worker to work 15-19 hours per week. The position is responsible for the custodial care and minor maintenance at the Community Center. The position will work Monday thru Friday with a negotiable start time between 9am and 10:30am. Flexibility to cover some holidays is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and shampooing carpets.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms.
- Collect and remove trash from building.
- Dust and wash walls, woodwork, and windows.
- Remove snow from steps and sidewalks near buildings.
- Follow written and oral instructions.
- Operate required equipment.
- Work with students, staff, and the public courteously.
- Work independently.
- Lift 50 pounds.
- Maintain a valid driver's license.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Sponsorship is not available for this position.)
