Part Time Facility Security Officer Consultant (remote)

Job Description
- Identify opportunities and methods to for the company to apply for and obtain an FCL, maintain FCL and track clearance progress; provide CEO reports for required clearance actions.
- Act as the company point-of-contact with the DCSA; understand and proactively take action on DCSA requirements.
- Lead and design the internal Insider Threat Program; increase Insider Threat Awareness throughout the company.
- Identify and implement policies and procedures to comply with US Import/Export Regulations, Internal Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
- Point-of-contact for employee security clearances, including submitting initial clearance requests, assisting employees with initial paperwork, and reinvestigations of employees.
- Assess information security risks and threats against the business.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, currently holding an active Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Experience as an FSO for a federal government contractor.
- Experience maintaining relationships with DCSA personnel.
- Proven experience leading company efforts in applying for FCL.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, or related degree preferred.
- Hands-on experience with information security preferred.
- Consultant experience, working with small businesses preferred.
- Experience at a remote employer preferred.
