POSITION PURPOSE:

We are looking for a Part-time facility manager for our Oroville self storage location. As the Part-time Facility Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the self-storage facility, including keeping the property clean, light sales of rental insurance, managing account receivables, customer rentals/leases and providing tours of the property. In addition, you may assist with the collection of delinquent units and must be able to offer exceptional customer service both in person and on the phone. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to help the facility/asset succeed! This position also assists with the cleanup of the property and light yard work, etc., as needed.

PART-TIME FACILITY MANAGER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

• Preparing auction units according to procedure and lien laws as needed.
• Handle customer inquiries or problems in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
• Meet sales goals for insurance, merchandise, and rentals.
• Keep a till balanced and well documented. Count cash and handle money by completing close of day.
• Perform company policies in opening/closing the office each day.
• Respond to resident inquiries and resolve resident complaints.
• Renting storage spaces based on customers\' needs
• Providing excellent service and building excellent rapport with new and existing customers
• Accepting payments and completing daily bank deposits
• Keeping the property and office clean and tidy, walking around the property performing lock checks and showing the units to customers
• Physical requirements of the job include daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and the property, opening and closing the storage doors (up to 50 lbs.), and similar light activities
• Other general office duties

PART-TIME FACILITY MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Willingness to work respectfully with people of diverse backgrounds
• 2-3 years of managerial experience
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Professional presentation
• Must have a flexible schedule with weekend availability
• Ability to solve problems involving: residents, personnel, finances, equipment/ maintenance issues, emergency situations, etc.
• Willing to learn and a drive to improve community/asset
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds is required
• Valid driver\'s license and clean background required in order to complete daily bank deposits
