- Teach reoccurring classes to students in a small group setting by following Vispark\'s best practices and guidelines.
- Motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge to provide an effective educational foundation, per each student\xe2\x80\x99s ability.
- Plan for new classes and grade homework after each class.
- Maintain accurate and complete student records and generate monthly progress reports as required for their family.
- Act as a liaison between students, parents, and education consultants.
- Teach inspiring sample classes to promote company products & courses and attract and retain students.
- Stay current on the latest learning theory and trends, sharing what you learn to improve the Spark curriculum.
- Must be fluent a English speaker with strong communication skills.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree is required. A teaching or math Bachelor\'s Degree is highly preferred.
- Two years of teaching are required with at least one year of teaching experience in K-12 preferred.
- Tutoring experience in the K-6 space will be considered.
- Experience teaching virtually is preferred.
- Experience with Common Core State Standard is required. Additional experience with Singapore Math Curriculum is preferred.
- Consistent availability between our peak teaching hours of 4:00-8:00 p.m. (in your time zone) during the week is preferred. Qualified candidates might be required to work on Saturday.
- Must be tech savvy and a quick learner.
- Passion for education and mentoring students.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S without visa sponsorship.
- Personal devices (laptop or desktop) must meet minimum requirements set by the company.
