We are in need of part time employee

s Both locations are in Martinsville. We are looking for loving, patient person who has flexibility in their schedule. You need to be self-motivated, be able to multitask and have a love for working with children. Hours can vary from 7:30am - 6:00pm.

MUST be available 11:00am - 6:00pm

MUST be over the age of 18

MUST have a High School Diploma or GED

MUST pass a drug test and background check

Responsibilities:

- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote child development
- Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
- Ensure the well-being and safety of children at all times
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
- Follow established routines and schedules for meals, naps, and activities
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed
- Change diapers and assist with toilet training, as necessary
- Monitor and address any behavioral issues or concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare area

Experience:

- Previous experience working with children in a childcare, preschool, or similar setting
- Knowledge of childhood development stages and appropriate activities for each age group
- Ability to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Understanding of behavior management techniques for guiding children's behavior in a positive manner
- Experience with infant care, toddler care, or caregiving is a plus

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
