Job Description
The King Trivia Pub Quiz is growing and we are searching high and low for part-time Quizmasters (aka hosts or emcees) who can stand up in front of a potentially drunk and unruly crowd and keep them entertained! We need more people to exercise their Jeopardy! fantasies and pretend to know all of the answers to all the questions. Plus you get to be a gigantic smart-ass. . .as long as you can make people laugh instead of pissing them off. Responsibilities include:
- Performance skills with emphasis on commanding a large crowd (public speaking experience is a plus but not required: teachers, trainers, actors, DJ\xe2\x80\x99s etc.)
- Being able to use simple math skills to keep an accurate score
- Owning a computer so that you can input scores and your game\'s stats to our website
- Being knowledgeable of social media and able to promote shows on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/etc.
- Work well under pressure
- Must be available to work Wednesday nights
- Operate and carry 35 lbs of a portable PA system
