Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. The Guest Service Agent will handle front desk operations, guest inquiries, and assist with various hotel services.

Duties



Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor. Keeping lobby clean and restocking market items including coffee area. Manage front desk operations including check-in and check-out processes. Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance guest experiences. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions using multi-line phone systems. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests. Assist in managing reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.

Requirements



Previous experience in hotel management or guest services is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information including, but not limited to, room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, the local area and other general product knowledge and answer guest questions and inquiries Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities and to maximize room occupancy Proficient in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems effectively. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with an emphasis on professionalism. A background in resort or hospitality environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
