Parts Service Admin

Vermeer All Roads in Avon, NY is seeking a Service Administrator - Parts to be the first point of contact for customers and the hub between Service and Parts. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment parts, strong organizational skills, and a customer-focused attitude.

Compensation & Schedule

Starting salary: $36,000+ (based on experience) Commission opportunities available Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule

Responsibilities

Assist customers in selecting required parts and provide accurate price quotes Upsell specials and inform customers of companion part requirements Process payments and obtain credit authorizations Follow up with customers regarding back-ordered parts Support shop technicians by retrieving and ordering parts for work orders Coordinate parts procurement with the Assistant Parts Manager Track repair status and update work orders accurately Operate a forklift as needed Stay current with industry trends and apply knowledge to daily work Perform additional duties as assigned

Physical Demands

Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms Ability to lift and transport materials up to 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 80 lbs.

Requirements

Prior experience in heavy equipment or parts preferred Strong organizational and customer service skills Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
