About the Role This position is responsible for sales of power units, replacement doors, controllers, starter panels and other elevator parts and components. Responsibilities Collect, update, and maintain existing customer information Provide exceptional communication and customer service Increase sales and identify prospective customers Submit and follow-up on proposals. Execute additional tasks as needed Experience 2-year degree or at least 2 years of elevator manufacturing and/or sales experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook) Familiarity with order processing/ERP systems Experience with phone sales, preferred Skills Resourceful and skilled in problem-solving, ability to prioritize tasks and multitask Detail oriented and organized Able to communicate effectively, complimented with great people skills & a sense of humor Team player with a positive attitude Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision Unshakeable integrity MEI's 50+ years in the elevator industry gives us an unparalleled ability to handle both custom and standard elevator projects with ease.
