Summary: Metal Sales is the nation\'s largest manufacturer of metal roofing and building systems with 21 locations across America. Our Detroit Lakes, MN branch has an opening on our production team for Parts Picker. This is a permanent full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay! Regular hours for this position are Monday thru Friday 5:30 am \xe2\x80\x93 2:00 pm. Overtime including working on weekends may be required during peak season. The Primary focus of this position is to pull the correct accessory part(s) from inventory to fulfill order requirements and in the correct sequence. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for (but not limited to):

• Filling orders of steel accessories, screws, nails and related parts for outbound trucks, will call customers, and common carriers.
• Maintaining accuracy with inventory parts and documentation.
• Operating stretch wrap machine and running carried bundles of trim through machine for protection.
• Stocking inbound product in the correct warehouse locations.

• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment and assisting in other departments as needed

Job Requirements:
The most qualified candidates will have:

• Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• The ability to accurately read orders and identify and pull product (type, quantity and color) correctly.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently along with others.
• High school diploma or GED

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Must be able to read, hear, talk, drive lift trucks, wear PPE, and lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
• Must be able to stand or walk approximately 7 \xc2\xbd hours minimum per work shift.
• Must be able to tolerate extreme temperature changes in the winter and summer months.
• Noise level is moderate to loud
