Rowe Auburn is hiring for a full time Parts Counter Person

Summary Description:

This is a customer-facing role responsible for selling and ordering automotive parts. This position requires a mix of customer service, technical knowledge of auto parts, and inventory management skills to assist customers with their needs, look up parts in electronic catalogs, and manage stock

Parts Department Responsibilities:

Customer service:

Helping retail and service customers identify and purchase the correct parts and accessories.

Inventory management:

Maintaining the parts department's cleanliness, organizing stock, and managing inventory levels.

Part ordering:

Using electronic catalogs to find parts and placing orders for items not currently in stock.

Technical assistance:

Providing price quotes, updating customers on shipment status, and offering basic advice on part selection.

Record-keeping:

Maintaining accurate records of sales, orders, and inventory.
Required skills and qualifications

Technical knowledge:

Familiarity with auto parts and repair is necessary, which can be gained through classes, trade school, or experience.

Customer service:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for interacting with a diverse range of customers.

Organizational skills:

The ability to manage multiple tasks, handle inventory, and stay organized is crucial.

Computer skills:

Proficiency in using electronic parts catalogs and other dealership systems is necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
